We are looking for a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer with solid hands-on experience building, deploying, and operating cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, Terraform, and CI/CD , along with experience working with modern cloud-native technologies and SRE practices.

You will be responsible for designing reliable and scalable infrastructure, automating cloud environments, improving deployment processes, and supporting highly available production workloads.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Build and operate containerized workloads using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Cloud Run.
- Implement and manage GCP IAM , VPC networking, firewall rules, and load balancing.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform .
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads using manifests and Helm charts .
- Implement and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure and platform services.
- Support service-to-service communication and traffic management using Istio Service Mesh .
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using tools such as Prometheus and Alertmanager .
- Work with GitOps-based deployment workflows using Argo CD .
- Apply SRE practices to improve system reliability, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Manage and troubleshoot GCP services including Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Spanner .
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows.
- Troubleshoot production infrastructure, networking, deployment, and Kubernetes issues.
- Collaborate with software engineers, platform engineers, and other infrastructure teams to improve developer and deployment experiences.
- Contribute to cloud architecture, security, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives.





Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Production experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Run .
- Strong understanding of GCP IAM and identity/access management.
- Strong understanding of VPC networking , subnets, firewall rules, routing, and GCP networking concepts.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Google Cloud Load Balancers .
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines .
- Experience with containerization and Docker .
- Strong Kubernetes deployment and administration experience.
- Experience authoring and managing Helm charts .
- Strong Linux and cloud infrastructure fundamentals.
- Experience with production monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Google Cloud Functions .
- Experience with Cloud SQL and Cloud Spanner .
- Experience developing or managing Kubernetes Operators .
- Hands-on experience with Istio Service Mesh .
