About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Design & Projects Manager to lead a team of AutoCAD draftsmen responsible for planning and designing commercial kitchen layouts for hotels, restaurants, QSRs, hospitals, institutions and other foodservice projects.

The person will be responsible for managing the complete design process — from understanding client requirements and architectural drawings to preparation of final kitchen layouts, MEP drawings, equipment planning and coordination with the quotation team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of AutoCAD draftsmen/designers.
- Study architectural drawings, site layouts and client requirements.
- Plan and develop commercial kitchen layouts considering workflow, equipment placement, ergonomics and space utilization.
- Allocate projects to draftsmen and monitor timelines and quality.
- Review AutoCAD drawings prepared by the team and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with clients/consultants for drawing modifications and approvals.
- Understand requirements for electrical, plumbing, drainage, gas, exhaust, HVAC and other MEP services related to commercial kitchens.
- Coordinate preparation of MEP/service drawings based on approved kitchen layouts.
- Coordinate with the estimation/quotation team to ensure correct equipment specifications and quantities.
- Ensure that final drawings, equipment schedules,



specifications and quotations are aligned before submission to the client.
- Handle drawing revisions and maintain proper version control.
- Coordinate internally with Sales, Estimation, Production and Projects teams.
- Ensure all drawings are completed and submitted within committed timelines.
- Maintain standard drawing formats, design standards and documentation.

Candidate Profile
- 12–15 years of relevant experience in Team Management, Autocad, MEP's.
- Solid knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drawing.
- Knowledge of MEP services related to commercial kitchens.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Experience in handling and reviewing the work of a team of draftsmen.
- Good client coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Should be capable of independently understanding a project and guiding the drafting team.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
