About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Design Lead to lead and streamline design functions across our Experience Centres. This role sits at the intersection of design excellence, operations, and customer experience, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable design delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Design Operations Management

- Oversee end-to-end design lifecycle from customer brief to final design delivery
- Standardize design workflows across multiple experience centres
- Ensure consistency in design quality, creativity, and practicality

Multi-Centre Design Governance

- Manage design teams across multiple locations
- Implement and monitor design SOPs, templates, and best practices
- Ensure alignment of all centres with brand and design standards

Team Leadership & Capability Building

- Lead, mentor, and manage large design teams (50–100+ designers)
- Hire and onboard top design talent
- Drive continuous training and upskilling programs

Process & Efficiency Optimization

- Improve design turnaround time (TAT) without compromising quality
- Streamline coordination between:

o Design o Sales o Execution teams
- Reduce rework and increase first-time-right designs

Performance & Metrics

- Track and improve:

o Design-to-sales conversion rates o Customer satisfaction (CSAT)

o Design approval timelines

- Use data and feedback to continuously refine processes





Customer Experience & Conversion

- Ensure designs are:

o Customer-centric o Functional and feasible o Aligned with budget expectations
- Partner with sales teams to improve conversion through design storytelling

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with:

o Operations o Sales o Execution / Project teams
- Ensure seamless transition from design → execution

Experience & Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering
- Advanced certifications or MBA (preferred)
- 12–18+ years of experience in design + operations roles
- Prior experience in managing multi-location design teams is mandatory
- Experience of managing projects at scale (₹100–200 Cr+ business environments)
- Prior experience in Interior design firms / home interiors / retail design can be an added advantage
