We are now building our in-house Design & Drafting Engineering team and are looking for an experienced engineer to join us in Bangalore.

What You’ll Do

- Design and detail 3D models, GA drawings, and manufacturing drawings for casting and forging components.
- Work on sand casting, investment casting, die casting, open-die and closed-die forging components.
- Translate OEM/customer design intent into supplier-ready manufacturing drawings.
- Apply DFM/DFC principles, including draft angles, parting lines, fillets, wall thickness, machining allowances, and shrinkage.
- Develop casting/forging process drawings, including gating, riser, and parting-line layouts.
- Work with GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis for critical features.
- Collaborate with Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Program Management, tooling, machining, and finishing teams.
- Support customer engineering discussions, design queries, ECR/ECN, drawing approvals, and supplier tooling reviews.
- Support NPI/NPD, PPAP/APQP, and engineering documentation activities.





What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in casting and/or forging component design & drafting.
- Experience with OEMs or OEM-facing engineering environments, preferably automotive, industrial, off-highway, or heavy engineering.
- Strong expertise in SolidWorks – 3D modelling, detailing, manufacturing drawings, and GD&T.;
- Working knowledge of CATIA and Creo/Pro-E.
- Good understanding of casting and forging manufacturing processes and design constraints.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, DFM/DFC, and engineering drawing standards.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

- Casting/forging simulation exposure

- Supplier tooling development experience

- NPI/NPD experience

- PPAP/APQP knowledge
