We are hiring for a Database Engineering Lead on behalf of a global software solutions provider headquartered in Kochi.

We're looking for an experienced database qualified who can take ownership of enterprise database administration, production support, performance engineering, high availability, security, migration, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, monitor, maintain & optimize enterprise databases
- Manage SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and OLTP workloads
- Drive database performance tuning, query optimization & indexing
- Handle database migration, upgrades, patching & cutover activities
- Ensure backup, recovery, replication & disaster-recovery readiness
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and conduct RCA
- Implement database security, auditing, access management & encryption




- Build database monitoring, automation & capacity-planning practices
- Collaborate with application, development, infrastructure & production teams
- Provide technical guidance for critical, high-availability production systems
