We are seeking a Team Lead - in domain, primarily, of Data Engineering and Analytics (DEA) and partially of DS/AIML on AWS - who will be responsible for one s team technical development activities, ones own individual technical contributions, along with quality of development, for DEA/DS/AIML projects. This role is ideal for someone who understands data and cloud engineering, has moderate exposure to AI/ML projects, and is comfortable working in a structured, processdriven Agile setup, reporting directly to the Head of DEA/DS/AIML. This is a partially development and a technical lead role, but not an architect position, and also not a project management position.

The role is ensuring disciplined and productive development work from self and the team being led, customer satisfaction, and internal process adherence - sticking to defined responsibilities and guiding team members in their development tracks

Responsibilities





Development Delivery

- Work on assigned DEA/DS/AIML development projects and tasks.
- Coordinate with developers to track progress and ensure quality deliverables.
- Review code, data flows, and technical artifacts before delivery.
- Ensure deliverables meet AWS and organizational standards.
- Obtain required approvals from the DEA/DS/AIML Head.
- Support milestone-driven customer delivery.

SCRUM Process Adherence
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM activities such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Track tasks, manage dependencies, and escalate blockers.
- Ensure adherence to sprint discipline and organizational processes.

Customer Support Coordination
- Ensure timely, high-quality customer deliverables.
- Coordinate with delivery leads for updates and clarifications.
- Act as a bridge between developers, delivery leads, and the DEA/DS/AIML Head.

Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java technologies.
- Proven experience leading software modernization projects, including migration to modern Java frameworks.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with modern software development practices, such as DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
- Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- A commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
