In this role, you will:

- Contribute to sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and current requests • Design, develop, test and support automation for the data protection services (NetBackup and CommVault) within the bank.
- Design, develop, test and support reporting and monitoring capabilities for the automation.
- Provide engineering support on the bank's data protection products and their standard usage.
- Undertake product evaluation, new features, and versions.
- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for all automation produced.
- Mentor less experienced members of staff To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) • Extensive knowledge of software development languages, including Python, Bash • Comprehensive experience in configuration management and orchestration using Redhat Ansible • Proficient in designing, developing, and testing Rest API services.
- Hands on experience in Devops SCM tooling, GitHub
