About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in data analysis, data science, or data engineering who excel at transforming raw data into actionable insights. As a Senior Data Engineer at Kake, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and workflows that support analytics, reporting, and predictive modeling initiatives.

Your expertise will enable our teams to make data-informed decisions by providing reliable, high-quality data solutions. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate complex business questions into effective data strategies and solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the company's ability to innovate and stay ahead in a competitive landscape.





Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or data engineering. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases are essential. Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar is required, along with a proven track record of building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses.

Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively articulate findings and collaborate across teams. The ability to work independently in a rapid-paced, remote environment is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows that support various analytics, reporting, and modeling needs.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decision-making.
- Build, validate, and maintain statistical or machine learning models to address specific business challenges.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of data across multiple sources and pipelines.
- Design and optimize data models, schemas, and data warehouses to facilitate scalable analytics solutions.




- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions and reports.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of data best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
- Participate in requirement reviews and proactively identify potential data risks early in the development process.
