About The Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Data Engineer Intern to join our Product & Technology team. This role offers an excellent prospect to work on building and maintaining robust data pipelines, creating insightful dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes.

The intern will be involved in managing data flow across various systems, developing operational dashboards using Frappe Framework / ERPNext, and automating workflows to enhance efficiency. This position is ideal for candidates eager to gain hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, and application development within a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in computer science and data fundamentals, with proficiency in SQL and Python. Prior experience working with relational databases, ETL/ELT pipelines, and APIs is highly desirable.

Candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. A background in data modeling, dashboard development, and familiarity with tools like Postman and version control systems such as Git/GitHub will be advantageous. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of small technical projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities Data Engineering & Data Pipelines:

- Design, develop,



and troubleshoot data pipelines across multiple sources including AWS RDS, Amazon Redshift, application databases, APIs, Google Sheets, and internal systems.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting purposes.
- Create Python scripts to automate ETL/ELT workflows, data transformations, and validation processes.
- Monitor scheduled data workflows, manage cron jobs, and ensure timely execution of data pipelines.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues such as missing records, duplicates, and schema inconsistencies.
- Develop data validation and reconciliation checks to ensure integrity between source systems and dashboards.
- Work with APIs and JSON payloads to facilitate data movement and integration between different applications.
- Document data sources, schemas, transformations, and dependencies for future reference and troubleshooting.

Dashboarding & Frappe-Based Applications

- Build and maintain operational dashboards, reports, DocTypes, forms, workflows, and views within the Frappe Framework / ERPNext environment.
- Connect Frappe applications with databases, APIs, and internal data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow.
- Translate business requirements into structured datasets, KPIs, filters, and visual components for dashboards.
- Debug data discrepancies and optimize dashboard performance for real-time data accuracy and usability.
- Enhance dashboard features by improving usability, performance, and data freshness.
- Support basic frontend customization using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Frappe scripting to meet specific user needs.

Additional Responsibilities





- Utilize tools like Postman for API testing, debugging, and validation.
- Work with REST APIs, JSON payloads, authentication mechanisms, and webhook integrations to facilitate data exchange.
- Conduct quality assurance testing for products and data prior to deployment.
- Assist in workflow automation across internal systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar LLMs for coding assistance, data analysis, documentation, debugging, and automation tasks.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, data dictionaries, SOPs, and implementation notes for ongoing projects.
- Quickly adapt to recent systems and collaborate across multiple technology platforms to meet project requirements.
