About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team on an hourly contract basis. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects within the cybersecurity domain.

The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience in security engineering, incident response, and risk management to develop realistic enterprise cybersecurity scenarios. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating reference outputs, designing evaluation frameworks, and simulating real-world security operations. This role demands a proactive individual capable of designing scenarios using industry-standard tools and methodologies, and producing detailed security assessments and architecture designs.

As part of our team, you will work closely with research and development teams to enhance cybersecurity evaluation processes and contribute to the development of innovative security solutions.





Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles such as Security Engineer, CISO, or Security Lead. Demonstrated experience in incident response, security architecture, or compliance initiatives is essential.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, and current cyber threats. Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), SOC 2, ISO 27001, or EU NIS2 is required. Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills are necessary to effectively produce detailed reports, assessments, and documentation.

Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or equivalent internationally recognized credentials are preferred, as well as experience working with organizations such as Mandiant, CrowdStrike, or large enterprise security teams.

Responsibilities Develop comprehensive cybersecurity scenarios encompassing Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability management, and security architecture design. Create targeted tasks related to threat detection, penetration testing, security engineering, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).

Utilize industry-standard tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, and Qualys to design and simulate realistic security environments. Apply threat modeling, incident response,



and risk assessment methodologies to ensure scenarios accurately reflect real-world security challenges. Produce detailed reference incident reports, security assessments, architecture diagrams, and compliance documentation to support research and evaluation efforts.

Develop evaluation rubrics that differentiate authentic enterprise security judgment from basic textbook knowledge, enhancing the quality and relevance of security assessments.
