About The Role The Cyber Security Engineer at UST will play a critical role in ensuring our products and services meet stringent cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements, particularly within the framework of the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). This position involves reviewing compliance assessments, conducting gap analyses, and collaborating with global teams to implement security improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in product security standards such as IEC 62443. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, engaging with international stakeholders and contributing to the security posture of innovative digital solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a relevant degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of three years of qualified experience in cybersecurity, particularly in consulting roles related to product security and regulatory compliance,



is essential.

Familiarity with IEC 62443 standards, especially IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2, is required. Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and its application in product compliance assessments. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English, are vital for effective stakeholder engagement.

The ability to analyze complex security assessments, identify gaps, and recommend practical solutions is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Review compliance assessments related to the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) for various product types, providing initial evaluations of compliance status.
- Conduct detailed gap analyses against CRA requirements to identify areas needing improvement.
- Prioritize remediation actions based on risk and impact, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement necessary security enhancements.
- Develop and recommend strategies for strengthening secure development practices and lifecycle management of products.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of IEC 62443 standards in reviewing product cybersecurity requirements, practices, and assessment outcomes.
- Collaborate with the global Center of Excellence (CoE)



Cyber Security team and other stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure consistency and alignment.
- Document review findings, observations, and recommendations clearly and systematically to facilitate decision-making and compliance tracking.
- Stay updated on evolving cybersecurity standards, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve security processes.
