Designation: Cyber Risk Engineer
Job Location : Pune/Thiruvananthapuram
Job Purpose The cyber risk engineer will be responsible for providing cyber related exposure analysis and risk improvement consultancy services to Allianz Commercial large corporate cyber clients across several international locations. Identify potential cyber threats, attack vectors and vulnerabilities. Adopting with changing digitisation environment in cyber risk consulting and claims support.
Key Requirements / Skills / Experience / Expertise
- Bachelors/Masters' degree or higher in Cyber Security would be preferred or master’s degree in computer science/Engineering, Information Technology and Information Systems, Distributed Computing, Network Structure, Software Developing, and AI.
- Information Security experience in Security Architecture, Governance, Network Engineering, Cloud Security, security tools/services, penetration testing, programming languages,
malware assessment and risk management.
- Experience in presenting complicate technical matters, clear communicate messages to different level of technical understanding stakeholders, able to articulate propositions to leaders in all levels of management.
- Cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM etc.)
- Being responsible for system and/or network security of an organization/unit/company.
- Expertise in Industrial Network Security of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) - Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Information / IT Security
- Knowledge of ICT Management Systems, Business Continuity Management, e2e digital value chain, and risk assessment methods and tools, is a plus.
- Understanding complex IT infrastructures (hardware components; software – UNIX, Linux, Windows; network communication protocols – TCP/IP, Modbus, OPC, Database structures), various digital platforms, cloud computing, IoT, blockchain based solutions, AI business application.
- Consulting experience in advising international companies about IT security project phases in the operational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cyber risk assessment desktop analysis of existing and/or potential Allianz Commercial Cyber clients, evaluating and summarising exposures, risk mitigation controls, and deliver cyber desktop assessment (DTA) reports for clients.
- Carry out cyber risk dialogues or site surveys when required with large accounts, which involve complex cyber risks. Provide technical consultation to Allianz Commercial clients in relation to cyber exposures.
- Understand, analyse, and provide insights on the Cyber global portfolio and its changing trends by compiling reports when required or by participating in relative ARC projects. Maintain and enhance technical skills and expertise in Cyber security to support global business development.
- Improve and develop tools and methods to appropriately capture and quantity the diverse set of 1st and 3rd party cyber risks. Collaborate closely with the ARC Cyber Team and Underwriting in improving and promoting the Cyber product, using all the available digital tools.
- Implement best practices for Cyber risk assessment in line with overall ARC processes and Functional Rules. Improve Cyber risk assessment processes by efficiency savings and reducing complexities. Perform quality control at work provided by 3rd parties.
