The Counterpart Classification Programme Business Analyst will be part of the central Finance Change Delivery team, supporting the programme with business analysis capacity focused on downstream requirements. The role involves driving requirements gathering, analysis, and elicitation to support value stream adoption via GCDU and CDP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze downstream requirements and translate them into deliverables for quarterly releases of the production system.
- Support programme/project managers by tracking delivery progress during releases.
- Analyze business requirements, accept or reject them based on relevance, and define technical requirements.
- Propose design solutions to enable successful delivery of incremental functionalities within the Counterparty Classification programme.
- Understand existing functionalities and engage stakeholders (Business and IT) to provide functional solution options to the cloud delivery team.
- Align designs with the broader objectives and future requirements of the Counterparty Classification programme.
- Work across projects under change initiatives, both BAU and transformational, with a strong focus on data-heavy processes and technical depth.
Controls Responsibilities:
- Document processes using the ARIS tool, collaborating with Regulatory Reporting SMEs to understand and document processes per bank standards.
- Revalidate existing process maps, clear validation errors, and facilitate publication.
- Enhance controls across various risk types including NCCR, CCR, and Operational Risk RWA.
- Understand reporting processes and existing controls, assess them against minimum requirements and guidance.
- Support reporting teams in controls uplift and document controls and continuous monitoring plans in bank-standard risk management tools.
- Validate control operations and gather evidence for compliance.
Qualifications:
- Robust experience in process documentation, controls, and non-financial risk management.
- Familiarity with ARIS or similar process documentation tools is highly desirable.
- Experience in regulatory or financial reporting is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively with reporting teams, managing competing priorities and blackout periods with strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
