Role Description The Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Counselor will provide personalized guidance to clients on education and immigration options, explaining eligibility, documentation requirements, and application processes for various visa categories. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, assessing client profiles, preparing and reviewing application files, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate records of each case.

The role involves responding to client queries via in-person meetings, phone, and email, ensuring clear communication and timely updates throughout the application journey.



The Counselor will also stay informed about changing immigration policies, participate in outreach or information sessions, and support clients with strategic planning for their education and migration goals.

Qualifications

- Robust counselling and advisory skills, including client needs assessment, profile evaluation, and solution-oriented guidance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex visa and education processes clearly and professionally.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including documentation handling, record-keeping, and managing multiple client cases simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing forms, supporting documents, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships, demonstrate empathy, and provide supportive, ethical guidance to diverse clients.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and online tools used for documentation, case management, and communication.
- Knowledge of international education systems and immigration pathways, especially for Canada and Australia, is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional qualifications in counselling, immigration, or education consultancy are an advantage.
- Prior experience in education consulting, immigration services, or client advisory roles is preferred.
