Role Description The Core Team – Unpaid role at HackHalt Cyber Intelligence Council is a full-time, remote position focused on advancing the organization’s mission in global cyber defense and education. Day-to-day activities may include coordinating initiatives with global partners, supporting cyber awareness campaigns, contributing to research and content development, and assisting in the design and delivery of training programs. Core team members may participate in project planning, documentation, and internal collaboration to ensure smooth execution of the council’s four-pillar strategy.
The role offers exposure to international stakeholders, hands-on involvement in cybersecurity initiatives, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to public-interest cyber safety efforts.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, digital safety, and public-interest technology, with a willingness to learn and contribute to mission-driven initiatives.
- Good research, analytical, and documentation skills to support projects, training programs, and knowledge resources.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, full-time setting while managing tasks, deadlines, and priorities responsibly.
- Cooperative mindset, professionalism, and ethical conduct aligned with non-profit and cyber safety objectives.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, AI applications in security, or related domains is an advantage.
- Previous experience in volunteering, non-profit work, or community initiatives is beneficial but not required.
- Relevant academic background or ongoing studies in cybersecurity, computer science, law, public policy, or a related field is preferred.
