Contract Recruiter Automotive Engineering Hiring | Chennai

Confidential opportunity with a leading automotive and mobility engineering organization.

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu | Openings: 2 | Experience: 3–7 years

Employment type: Contractual | Work mode: Full-time, in office / on-ground

Monthly salary : 70k + 10 k incentives, this role is for 2 months to 3 months only.

Role overview

Drive end-to-end recruitment delivery for a large automotive engineering hiring ramp-up while working on-site with the Chennai team.

Key responsibilities

- Source relevant engineering talent through Naukri Resdex, referrals, databases and targeted outreach
- Screen candidates for skills, experience, location, notice period, compensation and interest
- Coordinate hiring-manager submissions, interviews, feedback, offers and joining follow-up
- Maintain accurate daily MIS, ageing, funnel conversion and overdue-action tracking

Candidate profile

Recruitment professional with 3–7 years of hands-on delivery experience, strong Naukri Resdex sourcing capability and the discipline to manage candidate pipelines, hiring-manager coordination, interviews, offers, joining follow-up and daily MIS. Automotive, engineering or RPO hiring experience is preferred.

Location and inclusion

This is an on-ground, full-time contractual assignment in Chennai. The recruiter must work from the Chennai site and engage closely with candidates and stakeholders; remote or hybrid working is not planned. Chennai-based professionals are strongly preferred.
