About the RoleWe are looking for a creative and energetic Content Videographer to join our team and handle video shoots for our clients across different industries.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of camera handling, framing, composition, lighting and visual storytelling, with the ability to capture engaging content for Instagram Reels, YouTube, advertisements and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle professional cameras and equipment for client content shoots.
- Set up camera angles, frames, compositions and shots based on the content requirement.
- Plan and execute video shoots for Reels, promotional videos, brand videos, product videos and social media content.
- Understand different shot types, camera movements, perspectives and visual compositions.
- Set up and manage basic lighting and audio equipment during shoots.
- Work closely with the creative, content and digital marketing teams to execute shoot concepts.
- Capture high-quality footage suitable for social media and digital advertising.
- Adapt shooting style according to different brands, industries and content requirements.
- Travel to client locations across Chennai and occasionally to other locations for shoots.
- Ensure proper handling, maintenance and safe transportation of cameras and production equipment.
- Review footage during shoots to ensure framing, focus, exposure and overall quality are appropriate.
- Stay updated with current social media video trends, shooting techniques and content formats.

Requirements




- 6 months to 1+ year of experience in videography/content production preferred.
- Good knowledge of professional cameras and camera settings.
- Strong understanding of framing, composition, exposure, focus and camera movement.
- Basic knowledge of lighting and audio equipment.
- Ability to understand and execute creative briefs.
- Good visual sense and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for client shoots.
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work is preferred.

Good to Have
- Experience shooting Instagram Reels and short-form content.
- Knowledge of Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / After Effects.
- Experience with gimbal, tripod and handheld shooting.
- Basic understanding of video editing and post-production.
- Experience working with brands, agencies or digital marketing companies.
- Knowledge of current Instagram and YouTube content trends.
