Startup Stairs is an incubation and entrepreneurship-focused organization working towards building and supporting the startup ecosystem. We are looking for a creative and driven Content Creator who can tell compelling stories about startups, entrepreneurs, innovation, incubation programs, events, and the organization’s impact.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Content Creator with experience in the media industry, journalism, content writing, digital media, or content creation . The ideal candidate should have robust storytelling and communication skills, an understanding of news and current trends, and the ability to convert complex business and startup-related information into engaging content.

The candidate will be responsible for creating content across digital platforms, covering events and initiatives, developing stories, and strengthening Startup Stairs’ brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

· Create high-quality content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, websites, newsletters, and other digital platforms .

· Develop compelling stories around startups, entrepreneurs, founders, innovation, incubation programs, and business initiatives .

· Write articles, blogs, social media posts, press releases, interviews, captions, scripts, and other communication material.

· Research industry trends, startup ecosystem developments, business news, and relevant topics.

· Conduct and develop founder/entrepreneur interviews and success stories .

· Cover organizational events, workshops, startup programs, and important announcements.

· Convert interviews, events, and business updates into engaging written, visual, and video content.

· Work closely with the leadership, marketing, and program teams to understand content requirements.

· Develop creative content ideas and maintain a consistent brand voice.





· Assist in creating video scripts, reels, short-form videos, and campaign content .

· Proofread and edit content for accuracy, grammar, clarity, and tone.

· Identify trending topics and create timely, relevant content around them.

· Support PR and media communication initiatives whenever required.

· Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of content.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field .

· 2–5 years of relevant experience in content creation, journalism, media, content writing, digital media, or a similar role.

· Prior experience in the media/journalism industry is highly preferred .

· Strong writing, editing, research, and storytelling skills.

· Excellent command of English ; Hindi proficiency will be an added advantage.

· Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital content trends.

· Ability to conduct interviews and communicate confidently with founders, entrepreneurs, and senior professionals.

· Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple content requirements simultaneously.

· Basic understanding of content performance metrics and social media analytics is preferred.
