We, RentoMojo, were founded by IITM alums and serial entrepreneurs who worked out of almost every major city in India in his first five years of corporate career. Frustrated with the hassles of relocating from one place to the other, and tired of finding that perfect cluster of home essentials that suited their lifestyle.

RentoMojo caters to the needs of the working professionals which is unmet due to nonavailability of furnished rental flats by offering furniture and appliances on rental basis, thus, providing more flexibility than owning the expensive furniture and appliances.

Currently, we have 100,000+ subscribers with a typical rental period of 12-14 months. The current market size (as per a recent report by Grant Thornton) is estimated to be US$ 4.1 Billion and expected to grow to US$ 13 Billion by 2025.

With 700+ people operations, the company has a presence in 16 cities across India. Looking back, Rentomojo has not only made a current market of lease which never existed for the consumer, they have also become market leaders in the consumer rental industry. Unlike the norm, they are now seeing a reverse trend wherein a version of ours is being copied in the US and UK.



We are also profitable at monthly PAT since Oct 2021.

Role: Consumable Executive

Location: Bangalore

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Consumables Executive to manage the procurement, inventory, and availability of consumable materials required for day-to-day operations. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely availability of consumables while maintaining optimal stock levels and controlling costs. .

Role Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day procurement and availability of consumable items required for operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels regularly.
- Raise purchase requests/orders based on operational requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, orders, deliveries, and follow-ups.
- Ensure timely replenishment of consumables to avoid stock-outs and operational delays.
- Track consumption patterns and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile inventory with system records.
- Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and stock movements.
- Coordinate with warehouse,



operations, finance, and other internal teams for consumables requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure consumables are stored and issued appropriately as per operational requirements.
- Prepare regular inventory and procurement reports for management.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with company procurement and inventory processes.

Key Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; preferably with a background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, consumables, or operations.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
- Good numerical and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage priorities.
- Proactive approach with strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in e-commerce, logistics, warehouse, rental, retail, or supply-chain operations will be an added advantage.
- Candidates who have handled consumables, operational supplies, housekeeping materials, packaging materials, or similar categories will be preferred.
