Key Responsibilities

- Conduct consultations, clinical examinations, and detailed patient assessments.

- Diagnose and manage common and complex gynecological conditions.

- Provide antenatal, postnatal, and obstetric care.

- Manage normal deliveries and assist in complicated obstetric cases.

- Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries as per qualification and expertise.

- Manage conditions such as menstrual disorders, PCOS, infertility-related concerns, fibroids, ovarian cysts, PID, menopause-related problems, and abnormal uterine bleeding.

- Perform and interpret relevant investigations including USG, laboratory tests, Pap smear, and other diagnostic procedures.

- Provide family planning, contraception, reproductive health, and preventive counseling.

- Handle gynecological and obstetric emergencies appropriately.

- Coordinate with anesthetists, pediatricians, surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists when required.

- Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, operative notes, and discharge summaries.

- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and medical-legal requirements.

- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, and follow-up.





- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and hospital meetings when required.

Required Qualifications

- MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

- Valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council.

- Relevant clinical experience preferred.

- Valuable communication and patient-management skills.

- Ability to manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies.

- Surgical skills appropriate to the candidate's qualification and experience.
