Job Role
- Collection Executive
- Handle collection activities for customers in the 41–180 Days Past Due (DPD) bucket.
- Make regular phone-based follow-ups with overdue customers.
- Work with customers having outstanding short-term and personal loans.
- Persuade customers to make timely repayments and resolve payment-related queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate and systematic collection records.
- Coordinate with the field collection team wherever required.
- Work towards reducing overdue and roll-forward cases.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Collections
- Make daily follow-up calls to overdue customers in the 41–180 DPD bucket.
- Provide customers with clear and accurate repayment information.
- Follow up consistently to ensure timely recovery.
- Persuade customers to clear their outstanding dues.
- Handle customer queries and objections professionally.
- Work towards reducing roll-forward cases and improving recovery performance.
Coordination & Escalation
- Escalate difficult or unresolved cases to the Team Leader when required.
- Coordinate with the field collection team for cases requiring field support.
- Maintain regular communication with the internal collection team.
Records & Reporting
- Update customer collection records accurately and systematically.
- Maintain details of calls, customer commitments, payments, and follow-ups.
- Ensure collection data is updated regularly.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in collections with an NBFC or bank.
- Experience in short-term loan or personal loan collections.
- Excellent communication skills for phone-based follow-ups.
- Robust persuasion and customer-handling skills.
- Basic understanding of DPD terminology and collection strategies.
- Ability to maintain accurate collection records.
- Target-oriented and responsible approach.
Work Details
- Work Days: Monday to Saturday
- Timings: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- DPD Bucket: 41–180 Days Past Due (DPD)
- Industry Experience: NBFC / Banking
