Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Operate CNC turning machines (Lathe) to manufacture precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.

- Perform machine setup, tool setting, and offset adjustments for production runs.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and productivity.

- Conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Maintain proper documentation of production output and machine parameters.

- Identify and report machine issues, tool wear, or quality deviations to the supervisor.

- Ensure proper machine maintenance and cleanliness of the work area.

- Follow safety procedures and company manufacturing standards.





- Work closely with the production and quality team to meet daily production targets.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of CNC Turning / Lathe Machine operations.

- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.

- Familiarity with cutting tools, inserts, and tooling setups.

- Understanding of basic CNC programming (G-code / M-code) is an advantage.

- Good knowledge of precision measuring instruments.

- Robust attention to quality, accuracy, and detail.

- Ability to work in shift-based manufacturing environments.

Educational Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Machinist / Turner or equivalent technical qualification.
