- Knowledge of ISO 9001, MS-Office, CMM and Inspection activities.
- Proficiency in Calypso software is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawing interpretation.
/ RESPONSIBILITIES / WORK PROFILE:
- Create, modify, and optimize CMM measurement programs using Calypso software.
- Develop inspection programs based on 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Validate and prove out recent CMM programs before production implementation.
- Maintain and update CMM programs in line with engineering changes.
- Operate CMM machines for first-off, in-process, and final inspections.
- Measure complex machined and cast components.
- Perform dimensional inspections as per control plans and inspection standards.
- Verify critical dimensions and GD&T; requirements,
including profiles, positions, runouts, and form tolerances.
- Prepare and maintain:
- First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)
- Layout Inspection Reports
- Capability Study Reports
- Inspection Records
• Maintain calibration and inspection documentation.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Apply GD&T; principles as per ASME Y14.5 or ISO standards.
- Interpret datums, true position, profile, concentricity, and runout requirements accurately.
