We are looking for a highly polished, commercially minded and exceptionally proactive individual to work closely with a senior leader in our Enterprise business. You will act as an extension of their client-facing presence helping them identify opportunities, build relationships, prepare for important conversations, and ensure exceptional follow-through.

The role sits at the intersection of Business Development, Executive Client Engagement and Strategic Support.

You will get unusually close to senior-level conversations with business leaders across some of the world's largest organizations. You’ll learn quickly about executive education, leadership development, organizational transformation and enterprise learning while developing strong skills in business development and executive relationship management.

The ideal person is someone who is energized by senior stakeholders, communicates exceptionally well, is highly presentable, thinks ahead, and loves making things happen.

What you will do

- Act as a high-quality Business Development partner

You will support targeted outbound engagement with prospective Enterprise clients.

This will include

- Researching companies and senior stakeholders.
- Drafting highly personalized outreach.
- Engaging prospects through email, LinkedIn and other appropriate channels.
- Following up intelligently and persistently.
- Tracking conversations and next steps.
- Helping move promising relationships towards deeper conversations with the senior leader and broader Emeritus team.

This is not a high-volume SDR/call-centre role. The emphasis is on quality, relevance, executive communication and relationship building.

- Be part of senior client conversations

You may join client meetings virtually or in person, depending on the situation.

You will

- Understand the client's business context before the meeting.
- Join selected conversations to observe, support and capture significant information.
- Listen for business priorities, challenges, stakeholders and potential opportunities.
- Capture decisions, commitments and next steps.
- Ensure follow-up happens quickly and professionally.

Over time, you should develop a strong understanding of how senior executives think about talent, leadership, transformation and capability building.

3. Turn conversations into action:

Senior leaders have a lot of conversations. Your job is to make sure the important things that come out of those conversations don't get lost.

Sometimes this may mean taking structured notes during a meeting.

Other times, the leader may simply send you a voice note or a stream-of-consciousness "notes dump" immediately afterwards.

You will turn that into:

- Key client insights.
- Opportunities.
- Follow-up actions.
- Owners and deadlines.
- Introductions that need to happen.
- Information that needs to be shared.
- The next best step in the relationship.

You will become the person who ensures "we should follow up on that" actually turns into a follow-up.

- Help create a high-impact client agenda

When the senior leader is travelling to a city, you will help turn the trip into a productive series of client conversations.

You will

- Research relevant companies, executives and business priorities.
- Identify potential prospects and relationship opportunities.
- Develop targeted outreach to senior decision-makers.
- Coordinate introductions and meeting requests.
- Build and manage a thoughtful meeting agenda around the leader’s travel.
- Coordinating meeting logistics, including identifying and booking appropriate venues for client lunches and dinners.
- Ensure the right context is available before every meeting.

The objective is simple: help create more high-quality conversations with the right people.

- Build your own understanding of Executive Education

You don't need to be an expert in executive education on day one.

You will learn.

You will progressively develop an understanding of:

- Executive education and leadership development.
- Corporate learning and capability building.
- Leadership and talent challenges.
- AI and digital transformation.
- How large organizations think about workforce capability.
- How senior executives evaluate learning and development investments.
- The Emeritus portfolio and how we solve enterprise client problems.

The expectation is that you become commercially intelligent enough to understand a client's context and ask smart questions, even when you are not the subject-matter expert.

What success looks like

Six months into the role, you should be someone who:

- Knows the senior leader's priorities almost instinctively.
- Can prepare them intelligently for an important client conversation.
- Can identify relevant executives and companies worth approaching.
- Can write a compelling, personalized outreach message.
- Can confidently communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Can sit in a client meeting and understand what really matters.
- Can turn an informal conversation into a clear set of actions.
- Never lets an important follow-up disappear.
- Can anticipate what the leader or client will need next.
- Has developed a strong understanding of Enterprise Executive Education.

Ultimately, your job is to create leverage for a senior commercial leader.

You should help them spend more time doing what only they can do - building relationships, having strategic conversations and winning enterprise opportunities.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly client-ready

You are comfortable interacting with senior executives and naturally project confidence, warmth and professionalism.

You don't need to be the most experienced person in the room. You do need to be comfortable being in the room.

An exceptional communicator

You write clearly and professionally, speak confidently, listen carefully and know how to adapt your communication style to different stakeholders.

You understand that communicating with a C-suite executive is different from communicating with a peer.

Commercially curious

You are interested in businesses, people, industries and what makes organizations tick.

When you hear that a company is undergoing a transformation, entering a new market or appointing a new CEO, you naturally want to understand what that might mean for its people and leadership.

Extremely proactive

You don't wait to be told every next step. You see something that needs to happen and make it happen.

Highly organized. Without being an administrator

You can manage multiple relationships, conversations, follow-ups and priorities without dropping the ball.

You enjoy creating structure out of ambiguity.

Polished and presentable

You will interact with senior clients and represent the senior leader and Emeritus in important situations.

You should have excellent professional judgment, executive presence and attention to detail.

Fast-learning and intellectually curious

You may not know much about executive education today. What matters is that you are curious, absorb information quickly, ask great questions and can rapidly become conversant in a recent domain.

Comfortable with ambiguity

No two days will look exactly the same. One day you might be researching CEOs in New York. The next you might join a virtual client meeting. The next you might turn a 10-minute voice note into a follow-up plan and organize a client dinner.

You should enjoy that variety.

Experience

We are less interested in a specific job title and more interested in the quality of the person.

You may come from backgrounds such as:

- Business Development / SDR / BDR.
- Management consulting or professional services.
- Client success or account management.
- Recruitment / executive search.
- Hospitality or luxury client services.
- Chief of Staff / strategy support.
- High-end customer or relationship management.
- A solid graduate program with demonstrated commercial or client-facing experience.

The opportunity in one sentence Become the commercial right hand to a senior Enterprise leader helping create new executive relationships, making client interactions exceptional, and learning first-hand how some of the world's largest organizations think about leadership, talent and transformation.
