Role Description The Claims Specialist is a full time remote role responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end claims process for customers. This includes reviewing claim requests, validating documentation, coordinating with insurers, and ensuring timely and accurate claim resolution. The role involves analyzing policy terms and claim details, identifying discrepancies or gaps, and advising customers on next steps and supporting documents.

Specialist will communicate regularly with customers and internal teams, provide clear status updates,



and maintain detailed records in line with company standards. The role also includes contributing to process improvements, supporting knowledge sharing, and upholding Mitra’s commitment to transparency and customer-centric service.

Qualifications

- Strong claims management and claims handling skills, with experience overseeing complete claim lifecycles.
- Solid analytical skills to review policy coverage, assess claim validity, and identify patterns or issues.
- Knowledge of insurance products and processes, ideally across health, life, home, or cyber insurance.
- Effective communication skills for explaining complex information clearly to customers and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple cases, and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in claims, insurance operations, or customer support within the insurance sector is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
