Role Description The Civil Structural Engineer role at Solyug Energy is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The role involves designing and reviewing civil and structural components of solar projects, including foundations, mounting structures, and associated infrastructure. The engineer will perform structural analysis, prepare detailed drawings and reports, and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating with design, electrical, and project management teams,



optimizing designs for cost and performance, and supporting technical reviews and approvals. The engineer will also assist in site evaluations, provide engineering support during construction, and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to solar projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Structural Analysis, including experience with design software and relevant codes.
- Experience in Project Management, with skills in planning, coordination, and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with solar power plant design, foundations for PV structures, and site development is highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, prepare technical documentation, and work accurately to meet deadlines.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to safety and quality standards.
- Comfort working on-site in Surat and collaborating with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
