The thesis is simple

AI is making execution cheaper. Professional judgment is becoming more valuable.Most training teaches people what to know. Vidyasage is building a way for people to practise how to decide when information is incomplete, priorities conflict and every choice has trade-offs and consequences.

The MVP is functional, the products are live, the core AI engine is in production, and there is early traction and interest from colleges.

I am now looking for a CTO & Co-founder to build the technology and company with me.

The roleThis is not a Head of Engineering role.

As CTO & Co-founder, you will own technology end-to-end and work directly with me across:

Product · AI/ML · Full-stack · Cloud · MLOps · Architecture · Security · Scale

At this stage, you will be highly hands-on.

You will design systems, write code, deploy, debug production issues, make architecture decisions and decide what should be built next.

As the company grows, you will build and lead the engineering organization.

What you will buildThe next version of Vidyasage needs to become:

- AI-native
- reliable in production
- scalable to millions of learners
- multi-product and multi-tenant
- adaptable across professional domains
- ready for direct, partner, embedded and white-label distribution

You will have the freedom to challenge the current architecture and rebuild where necessary. Technology depthStrong hands-on capability across most of:
- LLM applications and AI/ML systems
- AI evaluation and reliability
- RAG, agents and knowledge systems
- MLOps and data pipelines




- backend, APIs and databases
- frontend / full-stack development
- cloud infrastructure and DevOps
- CI/CD, observability and security
- performance, scalability and cost

You do not need to match every technology above. The ability to learn, reason and build matters more than a checklist.

Who I’m looking forRoughly 10–15+ years of solid engineering experience, or equivalent depth through exceptional product/startup work.

You have built production systems from zero, can go from architecture to code to production, and are comfortable owning technical decisions without waiting for a large team.

You are

- fast without being careless
- comfortable with ambiguity
- high ownership
- commercially aware
- willing to learn whatever the problem requires

Prior CTO experience is not required. A great founding engineer, principal engineer, architect or technical leader may be a better fit than someone with a CTO title but limited building experience.

What matters mostToday, I am the sole founder and employee.

The technical organization will initially be the founder + CTO.

There will be no large engineering team, mature processes or layers of management to hide behind.

I’m looking for someone who is comfortable saying:

“Here is what I think should be built. Here is why.



I’ll build the first version.”The ambition is to build a globally relevant, unicorn-scale company, and to move with the intensity required to test that ambition quickly.

BengaluruThis is a Bengaluru-based role.

There is no formal office today. For now, the founders will work closely together and meet in person several times a week.

This is not a remote-only role.
