Purpose of the Role seeking a highly skilled and motivated CFD Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry on contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in engine and powertrain-related simulations, with a robust focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that require expertise in engine systems, powertrain components, and aerodynamic simulations.

Role & responsibilities

- Perform detailed analysis and simulation of engine workings and sub-systems.
- Conduct powertrain component and system-level simulations to support design and development.
- Execute engine-related CFD simulations, including in-cylinder combustion, port flow, coolant jacket, and Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) analysis.




- Perform external aerodynamic flow simulations to optimize vehicle performance.
- Create high-quality CFD meshes for various simulations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize tools like Ansys Fluent to perform advanced analysis and provide insights for design improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, testing, and manufacturing, to implement simulation results into actionable engineering solutions.

Must-Have Skills & Experience Thermal simulations (Vehicle heat comforts, Engine thermal dynamics), Ansys Fluent Software, GT Suite/ Recardo/ AVL Suite

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of Two -wheeler industry/ Engine Thermal dynamics
