Hedge Cafe & Club is looking for a passionate and skilled CDP / DCDP to join our kitchen team.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their food, maintains high standards, and enjoys working in a fast-paced café and club environment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Prepare and cook food according to Hedge's recipes and standards
- Manage and maintain your assigned kitchen section
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portion sizes
- Assist with daily mise en place and kitchen preparation
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety
- Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage
- Work closely with the Chef and kitchen team during busy service
- Assist in receiving and storing ingredients
- Maintain a clean, organised and effective workstation
- Support junior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team setting

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a CDP / DCDP / Commis Chef in a professional kitchen
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure




- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organisation

Experience:

- DCDP: 1–2+ years of relevant kitchen experience
- CDP: 2–4+ years of relevant kitchen experience
