Experience: 3–6 years in automobile service/training
- Conduct technical and practical training for service technicians, apprentices and workshop staff.
- Train employees on Toyota vehicle systems, diagnostics, periodic maintenance and repair procedures.
- Develop training modules covering mechanical, electrical, electronic and diagnostic systems.
- Provide hands-on training using workshop vehicles, tools, diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
- Conduct induction and refresher training for newly joined technicians.
- Evaluate technicians through practical assessments, tests and skill evaluations.
- Identify individual skill gaps and prepare improvement plans.
- Train employees on new vehicle models, technologies, features and updated repair procedures.
- Promote First Time Right (FTR), quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to Toyota service standards, safety procedures and workshop processes.
- Support technicians in diagnosing complex technical problems and improve troubleshooting skills.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessment scores and competency reports.
- Coordinate with Service Manager, Technical Team Leaders and HR for training requirements.
- Encourage Kaizen/continuous improvement and effective workplace practices.
- Support dealership initiatives for developing technically competent and self-reliant service personnel.
