Job Overview
As a Car Evaluator, you will be the face of Spinny on the field. Your primary responsibility will be visiting customer locations to perform detailed physical and technical assessments of pre-owned cars using mobile diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Visits: Travel daily to customer homes or specified locations to evaluate pre-owned vehicles.
- Vehicle Inspection: Thoroughly inspect key components including the engine, bodywork, tires, electrical systems, battery, and overall vehicle mechanics.
- Digital Reporting: Document vehicle parameters and upload accurate inspection reports and photos via Spinny’s mobile application.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate inspection findings and vehicle condition clearly and politely to customers in simple, accessible language.
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience as a car mechanic or auto technician.
- Education: ITI or Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering.
- Industry Experience:
Prior technical experience with authorized dealerships or multi-brand pre-owned setups (e.g., Maruti True Value, Mahindra First Choice, Toyota, Tata, etc.).
Mandatory Skills & Assets:
- Driving License: Valid 4-wheeler driving license and solid driving proficiency.
- Personal Vehicle: Must own a two-wheeler for local daily travel.
- Literacy: Basic English reading ability.
- Mobility: Complete willingness to work as a full-time field evaluator.
- Base Salary: ₹3 LPA fixed payout.
- Performance Incentives: Uncapped performance-based incentive structure (earn extra based on monthly evaluations completed).
- Travel Allowance: Petrol reimbursement at ₹4 per kilometer.
- Additional Allowances: Water and mobile recharge allowances.
