Internship Overview The SIWES Internship Program provides students with practical workplace experience that complements their academic studies. Interns will be assigned to relevant departments based on their course of study and will receive mentorship while supporting day-to-day business operations.

Throughout the internship, participants will gain exposure to industry best practices, workplace collaboration, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

As a SIWES intern, you will:





Assist with daily departmental tasks and projects.

Support administrative and operational activities.

Participate in meetings, training sessions, and team collaborations.

Conduct basic research, documentation, data entry, and reporting.

Learn industry best practices relevant to your discipline.

Work closely with supervisors and seek guidance when necessary.

Maintain confidentiality of company information.

Comply with company policies, workplace ethics, and safety guidelines.

Complete your SIWES logbook and required reports accurately and on time.

Eligibility Requirements To be eligible, applicants must:

Be currently enrolled in a recognized tertiary institution.

Be eligible for the SIWES programme.

Be studying a course relevant to the department they will be assigned to.

Have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Demonstrate willingness to learn and take initiative.

Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

Be professional, reliable, and punctual.

Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, the following will be an advantage:

Basic knowledge of software or tools related to your field.
