Candidate Profile

We are looking for a technically competent and detail-oriented CAD Engineer who can independently prepare accurate structural drawings, understand engineering requirements and coordinate effectively with the engineering/project team.

Candidates based in Ahmedabad or nearby locations will be preferred.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 60% marks in all academic qualifications.
- Candidates with relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering and practical CAD experience will be preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting/design support for civil/structural infrastructure projects.
- Candidates with experience in railway infrastructure and structural drawings will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- Railway infrastructure projects
- Bridge and ROB/RUB projects
- RCC structures
- Structural GAD preparation
- Reinforcement detailing
- BBS preparation
- Infrastructure consultancy/design projects





Key Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying structural drawings for railway and infrastructure projects, including:
- Box Culverts
- Road Over Bridges (ROBs)
- Road Under Bridges (RUBs)
- Minor Bridges
- Major Bridges
- General railway structural and infrastructure drawings.
- Prepare reinforcement detailing drawings for RCC structures.
- Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as required.
- Interpret structural design drawings and convert engineering requirements into accurate CAD drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams for drawing revisions and updates.

Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of CAD drafting standards, including layers, annotations, dimensions, layouts and sheet preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and civil engineering drawings.
- Positive understanding of RCC detailing and reinforcement detailing practices.
- Ability to visualize structural components and prepare accurate drawings.
- Familiarity with railway/infrastructure project standards will be an added advantage.
