: A CA Intern/Articleship in a Logistics Company involves assisting the finance department with high-volume transactional accounting, statutory compliance (specifically GST), and financial reporting. Key responsibilities focus on managing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ensuring that logistical documentation (like freight invoices) is correctly recorded in ERP systems like SAP or Tally. Core Responsibilities

- Financial Accounting: Handling day-to-day accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including booking vendor invoices, liner invoices, and freight billing.
- Bank Reconciliations: Performing daily/weekly bank reconciliations and inter-branch reconciliations.
- GST & Statutory Compliance: Assisting with GST filings (GSTR-1, 3B, 2B reconciliation), TDS compliance, and TDS returns.
- Financial Reporting & MIS: Assisting in the preparation of standalone financial statements, month-end closing activities, and variance analysis.
- Documentation & Auditing:



Supporting statutory/internal audits by providing documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Logistics Specific Tasks: Liaising with operation teams for documentation, tracking payments, verifying freight rates, and assisting with duty drawback calculations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification: Pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA Intermediate or Articleship stage).
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software like Tally Prime or SAP.
- Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of freight accounting, E-way bills, and transportation documentation is advantageous.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large sets of data, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to recording financial transactions and verifying invoices.
