Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced business leader with a track record of managing and scaling a medium-sized business or business unit, ideally driving 3–4x growth. The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of experience in leadership roles across operations, business development, marketing, or general management, preferably within education, fitness, consumer services, or other high-growth businesses.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Revenue & Financial Management

- Own revenue targets, profitability and cost efficiency.
- Review revenue, collections, profitability, and key business metrics with leadership on a regular basis.
- Approve spending and vendor contracts in alignment with financial goals.

2. Strategic Leadership

- Develop and execute the academy’s long-term vision and annual operational plan.
- Oversee all departments – Marketing, sales, operations, HR, and finance.
- Identify growth opportunities (online expansions, new verticals, partnerships, etc.).

3. Operations Management

- Design and continuously improve scalable workflows, processes, and accountability systems across teams.
- Develop and improve processes that enhance the student experience and maximise student retention.
- Monitor scheduling, attendance, and punctuality of coaches and students using measurable KPIs and tools.
- Implement quality control checks on classes and coach performance.

3. Team Management

- Lead, mentor,



and evaluate staff including operations team, sales teams, marketing team, support staff and Coaches.
- Conduct regular team meetings and reviews.
- Drive performance through clear KPIs and team accountability.

4. Student Feedback & Improvement

- Ensure high student satisfaction through quality training, transparent updates, parent communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Establish and improve systems to measure student progress and parent satisfaction, retention, and issue resolution.

6. Sales & Marketing Leadership

- Coordinate with the marketing team to run campaigns, events, and promotions.
- Continuously improve the sales process, conversion rates, and overall revenue performance.
- Oversee branding, social media presence, and public representation of the academy.

Qualifications:

- 6–10 years of experience, including significant people leadership experience in a consumer-facing, education, fitness, services, or high-growth business.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and being accountable for measurable business outcomes such as revenue growth, profitability, customer retention, or operational efficiency.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with comfort working with data, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier-1 University/College in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering or a related field; MBA or equivalent skilled qualification is an advantage.
