Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Associate role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.

The Business Development

Associate will identify and pursue new business opportunities, including schools, coaching centers, and other educational partners, to expand Tutopia’s presence. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, generating and qualifying leads, delivering presentations and product demos, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to align sales activities with marketing strategies and product updates, tracking performance metrics,



and preparing regular reports on outreach and conversion.

The successful candidate will actively represent Tutopia in meetings, events, and field activities to drive growth in target markets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Presentation Skills and experience creating and delivering effective Presentations to diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, follow-ups, and pipeline management.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills to analyze competition, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage confidently with students, parents, and institutional partners.
- Prior experience in sales, business development, or education technology is beneficial.
- Ability to work in office in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with willingness to travel locally as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills, goal-oriented mindset, and comfort working with targets and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is preferred.
