About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong technical background to join the People & Culture Technology team at a global enterprise organization.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of business requirements, enterprise applications, cloud technologies and system integrations. You will cooperate closely with Product Delivery Leads, Solution Architects, Cybersecurity teams and external technology vendors.

Your main responsibility will be to understand business and product requirements, assess their technical feasibility and translate them into clear technical requirements and integration solutions.

This is a hands-on technical Business Analyst role. You will not only document requirements, but also investigate APIs, validate integrations, analyze data flows and support Proofs of Concept (PoCs).

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and product requirements and translate them into clear technical requirements.
- Work closely with Product Delivery Leads and Solution Architects to assess the feasibility and impact of new features.
- Analyze existing systems and identify integration dependencies, technical limitations and potential risks.
- Work with enterprise SaaS platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone and other HR/P&C; solutions.
- Analyze and validate REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks and API payloads.
- Review API documentation, SDK capabilities,



authentication mechanisms and data models.
- Support the design and validation of integrations between SaaS platforms and cloud environments.
- Create and document data-flow diagrams, integration scenarios and technical requirements.
- Participate in technical discussions with external vendors and challenge proposed solutions from a technical perspective.
- Support Security Risk Assessments (SRAs) and technical risk reviews together with Cybersecurity and Risk teams.
- Identify opportunities to simplify existing integrations, remove unnecessary middleware and improve system performance.
- Support Proofs of Concept and technical validation of proposed solutions.
- Clearly communicate technical limitations, risks and possible solutions to business stakeholders.

Requirements

Must have

- 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Integration Analyst or similar role in an enterprise environment.
- Robust understanding of business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Experience working with enterprise applications and SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of system integrations and APIs.
- Practical experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, webhooks and API payloads.
- Good understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC or SAML.




- Experience analyzing data flows and integration dependencies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and integration specifications.
- Experience working with Solution Architects, developers, infrastructure/cloud teams and external vendors.
- Experience participating in technical risk assessments or security reviews.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Very good English communication skills.

Nice to have

- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, EventBridge or CloudWatch.
- Basic programming/scripting experience, preferably Python or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Experience creating Proofs of Concept or validating technical solutions.
- Experience with HR technology platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow or Cornerstone.
- Experience working in cybersecurity or compliance-related processes.
- Cloud certification, preferably AWS.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who combines the skills of a Business Analyst and a Technical Systems Analyst.

You should be comfortable talking to business stakeholders about their requirements, but at the same time be technical enough to open API documentation, inspect a payload, understand an integration architecture and identify potential technical limitations.

You do not need to be a software developer or cloud architect. However, you should be technically curious and hands-on, with enough technical knowledge to independently investigate problems and validate proposed solutions.
