Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive business and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technology teams, translating complex business needs into scalable solutions while leveraging data-driven insights to improve customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

- Lead workshops and stakeholder discussions to elicit, analyse, document, validate, and manage business requirements.
- Translate business needs into high-quality user stories, functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle, including change control, traceability, approvals, and sign-offs.
- Partner with Product Owners to support backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and value-based decision making.

Data Analysis & Solution Design

- Perform business, process, and data analysis to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse datasets, reporting requirements, data flows, and business processes to support solution design.
- Work with SQL, data models, and reporting tools such as Power BI to derive insights and define reporting requirements.
- Support process optimisation, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, operations, and delivery teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including requirement workshops, backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT support, and solution reviews.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams,



and UX designers to ensure solutions align with business objectives and user needs.
- Manage stakeholder communication, governance reporting, and expectation management across multiple initiatives.

Testing, Governance & Implementation Support

- Support test planning, review test scenarios, and ensure end-to-end requirement coverage.
- Coordinate UAT, business validation, production readiness reviews, and post-release support activities.
- Assess impacts of changes, prepare change requests, and support project governance processes.
- Ensure solutions comply with business, regulatory, risk, and operational requirements.

Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of Business Analysis experience within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or Digital Product environments.
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation, process modelling, user story writing, and stakeholder management.
- Proven analytical skills with experience in SQL, data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Robust knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional product, technology, operations, and business teams.

Preferred Domain Knowledge Experience in one or more of the following domains:

- Loan Origination & Processing
- Securitisation
- Treasury & Funding Operations
- Fixed Income Securities
- Capital Markets & Funding Structures
- Financial Reporting & Accounting
