About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle CPQ Cloud Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) implementation and transformation projects.
Your expertise will be pivotal in translating complex business requirements into effective CPQ solutions that streamline quoting, pricing, and order management processes. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore delivery units, ensuring seamless communication and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Quote-to-Cash transformations, a solid understanding of Oracle CPQ capabilities, and proven leadership in requirement gathering, process analysis, and solution design.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of IT/business consulting experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) implementation or transformation projects.
- Robust functional understanding of Oracle CPQ Cloud capabilities including product configuration, pricing, discounting, quoting, approvals, document generation, renewals, amendments, and order handoff processes.
- Proven experience acting as a functional liaison between business stakeholders, sales operations, product/pricing teams, IT teams, and offshore delivery units.
- Excellent skills in requirements workshops, discovery sessions, fit-gap analysis, process walkthroughs, and conference room pilots.
- Ability to document business requirements,
functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices aligned with Oracle CPQ capabilities.
- Experience analyzing current and future Quote-to-Cash processes, including lead-to-quote, quote-to-order, pricing governance, approval workflows, renewals, amendments, and contract flows.
- Knowledge of CPQ product model design, configuration and pricing rules, quote layouts, approval processes, document outputs, and user experience design from a business perspective.
- Strong collaboration skills with technical teams to ensure configurations and customizations meet business requirements.
- Experience supporting integration with Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Fusion, ERP, CRM, and other downstream systems.
- Proficiency in preparing and supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, and business validation activities.
- Excellent communication skills for conducting training, SOP documentation, and stakeholder presentations.
- Ability to analyze change requests, assess impacts, and support prioritization and release planning.
- Proven ability to coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, manage deliverables, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle CPQ Cloud implementation projects, including requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design.
- Act as the primary functional liaison to translate business needs into detailed CPQ requirements and specifications.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and fit-gap analyses to identify gaps and define solutions.
- Document business processes, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Oracle CPQ capabilities.
- Design and configure product models, pricing rules, discounting strategies, and approval workflows within Oracle CPQ Cloud.
- Support the integration of CPQ with Salesforce, ERP, and other downstream systems by defining data flows and validation rules.
- Lead testing efforts including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and business validation to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
- Provide functional guidance on document generation, quote layouts, and user experience enhancements.
- Support user training sessions, SOP documentation, and change management activities to ensure successful adoption.
- Analyze change requests, assess their impact, and support prioritization and planning for releases.
- Coordinate activities with onshore and offshore teams, manage project timelines, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Conduct demonstrations, process walkthroughs, and solution validation sessions for stakeholders and leadership.
