Job Summary

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) – Elite Direct is responsible for leading and managing a team of Relationship Managers to drive high-value life insurance sales through the Elite Direct channel. The role focuses on team productivity, premium growth, customer acquisition, and relationship management, targeting affluent and high-net-worth customers while ensuring compliance and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership

- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Relationship Managers in the Elite Direct channel

- Set targets, monitor performance, and drive team productivity

- Conduct regular reviews, training, and field coaching sessions

Business Development & Sales

- Drive premium growth through direct sourcing of high-value customers

- Support the team in closing large-ticket life insurance cases

- Develop and execute strategies to acquire affluent/HNI customers

Customer Relationship Management

- Build and manage strong relationships with key customers

- Ensure high-quality customer engagement, service, and retention

- Address escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer issues

MIS & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company policies

- Maintain accurate MIS, sales reports, and performance dashboards

- Monitor persistency, renewals, and business quality metrics

Collaboration & Strategy

- Coordinate with internal teams for underwriting, operations, and service support

- Provide market insights and feedback to senior management

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)

- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Life Insurance – Direct Sales / Elite / HNI segment

- Prior team handling experience is mandatory

- Experience in Elite Direct / Wealth / Relationship Management channels preferred
