Company Description

FlintPop is a brand strategy and content studio. Most businesses lose to louder competitors not because their work is weaker, but because nobody's translated what they actually do into something that lands. We fix that by diagnosing first, a real audit before a single piece of content gets made, then producing against what the audit actually finds.

The Brand Audit is free and instant, the same diagnostic logic scaled down to two minutes. From there, production runs on a credit system, clients pay for what they use, static posts, reels, long-form video, photo shoots, not a flat retainer that assumes a shape their business doesn't have.

SuperFlint, our own operations platform, runs the pipeline underneath every engagement, roster, tasks, calendar, ledger, one login instead of five disconnected tools.

No AI slop, ever. Every piece is written, shot, or built by someone who did the work, not generated and passed off as real. Instead, we use AI to cut short the time it takes to do redundant tasks.

We work across multiple verticals, including B2B, music and A&R;, media, SaaS, and healthcare, and we hold every deliverable to a journalism-trained standard, not a template.

Role Description

This isn't a technical editing role dressed up with a bigger title. Cutting footage and generating images are the mechanics, the part that has to be right, but they're not the job. The job is deciding what a piece is actually arguing and making every cut, every image, every pacing choice serve that, not just following a script's marked beats.

You'll take AI-assisted first cuts from SuperFlint's editing pipeline and decide what actually survives,

not accept the machine's suggestion because it's there, and not redo everything by hand out of habit either. Some AI-generated cuts will be right. Knowing which ones, and why, is the actual skill. Same with images, when a client's own footage doesn't cover something, you decide whether a generated still genuinely serves the piece or whether it needs to be reshot, and you can defend that call.

Every client sounds and looks different on purpose. You're not applying one house style across multiple verticals, you're making a real creative read on what this specific client's brand kit means for pacing, color, and rhythm, then executing it. And because the AI pipeline itself is still evolving, this role means adapting the workflow as the tools change, not waiting for a fixed process to be handed down.

Qualifications

- Real creative judgment, you can look at a cut and say specifically why it works or doesn't, not just whether it "feels right"
- Comfortable making the call between an AI-suggested edit and overriding it, and can explain the reasoning either way
- Genuine mechanical fluency, Premiere, DaVinci, or CapCut for edit, Photoshop, Figma, or AI image tools for stills, rapid enough that mechanics never bottleneck the creative decision
- A track record of work across different tones or brands, not one visual style repeated everywhere
- Comfortable with a workflow that keeps changing, willing to adapt as the AI-assisted pipeline itself develops, not attached to one fixed process
- Able to work hybrid from Goa and hold creative judgment under a real deadline, not just given unlimited time to get it right
