Role Description This is a full-time, in office Branch Manager role based in Chennai.

The Branch

Manager oversees day-to-day branch operations, including managing dispatch and deliveries, supervising staff, and ensuring adherence to service standards and timelines. The role involves monitoring branch performance, handling customer escalations, and implementing operational improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in branch management, operations management, or logistics supervision, preferably in courier or transportation services.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop on-site teams to meet performance and service targets.
- Proficiency in using logistics or dispatch software, basic MS Office tools, and technology-driven tracking systems.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills for handling client queries and resolving escalations.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including capacity to interpret data, track KPIs, and implement process improvements.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control operational costs, and support revenue growth at the branch level.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, handle multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of reliability, integrity, and professionalism.
