Role Description The Branch Manager (Agency) will oversee daily operations of the health insurance agency branch in Ahmedabad in a full time, on-site capacity.

Responsibilities include leading and mentoring the branch team, setting and monitoring sales and service targets, and ensuring compliance with applicable health insurance regulations and company policies. The role involves managing client relationships, supporting agents with product knowledge and sales strategies, and resolving escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.

Manager will also analyze branch performance, prepare regular reports, coordinate local marketing activities, and drive growth through effective business development and community outreach.

Qualifications

- Experience in branch or agency management,



including team leadership, performance monitoring, and operational oversight.
- Background in health insurance, financial services, or related sectors, with familiarity with Affordable Care Act concepts and health coverage products.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle escalations and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Proficiency in sales planning, target setting, and basic business development activities, preferably in an agency or branch environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including report preparation, compliance tracking, and process documentation.
- Comfort with using standard office software and digital tools for reporting, client records, and internal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in branch or agency leadership will be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and adapt to local market conditions, cultural context, and regulatory requirements.
