Senior BlackLine Consultant (Contract) ? Bangalore / Remote | ? Contract – 6 months (with possible extension)

About the Role We're looking for an experienced BlackLine Consultant to support financial close automation and account reconciliation processes for a client engagement. This is a contract position with an initial term of 6 months, likely to extend based on performance and project needs.

Experience

- 8+ years of experience in financial systems consulting, with solid hands-on expertise in BlackLine
- Proven experience implementing or supporting BlackLine modules: Account Reconciliations, Task Management, Journal Entry, Variance Analysis, Intercompany
- Experience with financial close automation and month-end/year-end close processes
- Background in project-based, construction, or contract accounting environments preferred
- Prior experience integrating BlackLine with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) is a plus





Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
- BlackLine certification(s) preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

- Act as functional SME for BlackLine, advising on configuration, workflows, and best practices
- Gather business requirements and translate them into BlackLine configurations
- Support implementation, testing, and go-live activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reconciliations and close processes
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to streamline financial close cycles
- Document processes and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
