Our Client, a leading FMCG Organization, is looking to engage with a Project Consultant - Sustainability to support sustainability and circularity initiatives by driving recycling infrastructure projects, waste management operations, and resource recovery programs.

The consultant will play a key role in advancing plastic circularity agenda by supporting the design, implementation, and scale-up of initiatives focused on behaviour change, community engagement, communications, and circular economy programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

- Manage end-to-end program execution, including project plans, timelines, budgets, deliverables, trackers, dashboards, reporting, and risk management to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
- Apply understanding of sustainability, circular economy, and partnership ecosystems to strengthen program design, implementation quality, and impact.
- Coordinate with implementation partners and external stakeholders to support program planning, execution, reviews, field visits, assessments, and performance reporting.
- Support development and management of program documentation, including proposals,

presentations, MoUs, contracts, compliance records, and reports, while ensuring adherence to governance, statutory, and audit requirements.

Behaviour Change & Communications

- Support the design and execution of behaviour change interventions to promote waste segregation at source and responsible waste management practices.
- Coordinate community engagement program across urban and rural geographies, working with NGOs, local governments, schools, resident welfare associations, and community groups.
- Develop communication assets, behaviour change toolkits,



campaign content, training materials, and stakeholder engagement resources.
- Support planning and execution of awareness campaigns, workshops, events, field activations, and community outreach initiatives.
- Monitor program effectiveness through field assessments, surveys, data collection, and impact measurement frameworks.
- Document learnings, best practices, success stories, and impact narratives for internal and external communications.

Duration: 12 months (extendable)

Location: Mumbai (should be open to travel)

Mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO, and 2 days WFH)

Skills Required

- Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Sustainability, Setting, Development Studies,

Communications, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability, CSR, development sector program, communications, community engagement, or project management.
- Experience in designing or implementing behaviour change, community outreach, communication, or social impact program preferred.
- Prior experience in circular economy, waste management, plastic circularity, recycling ecosystems, or environmental sustainability program will be preferred.
- Experience working with NGOs, government agencies, foundations, consulting organizations, or corporate sustainability teams preferred.
- Basic understanding of sustainability concepts is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
- Understanding of behaviour change methodologies and community engagement approaches.
- Basic understanding of sustainability, circular economy, and environmental challenges in India.
