We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can connect with students and parents, understand their career needs, provide the right guidance, and convert qualified leads into enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with students and parents through phone calls, WhatsApp, online meetings and counselling sessions.
- Understand students' academic background, interests, career aspirations and parents' concerns.
- Explain eKal Academy's career counselling, mentorship and skill-development programs.
- Conduct effective career counselling and sales conversations with parents.
- Follow up with leads and move them through the sales funnel.
- Handle parent objections related to fees, program value, outcomes and commitment.
- Convert qualified leads into paid program enrollments and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate lead and follow-up information in the CRM.
- Build strong relationships with parents and students throughout the admission journey.
- Coordinate with the marketing and program teams to improve lead quality and conversion.
- Participate in webinars, career sessions, school activities and other student/parent engagement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for B2C and B2B education partnerships.

- Good at understanding customer needs and presenting the right solution.
- Persistent with follow-ups and capable of handling rejection.
- Comfortable using CRM, WhatsApp and online communication tools.
- Passionate about education, careers and helping students make better decisions.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:
- Education / EdTech sales
- Career counselling
- School / college admissions
- Student counselling
- Inside sales
- Parent counselling
- Education program sales
- B2C sales

Candidates from non-education sales backgrounds with excellent communication and proven sales performance may also apply.
