Role Description The Base24 Consultant will work full time on-site in Hyderabad, focusing on implementation, customization, and maintenance of Base24 solutions within card and payment processing environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business and technical requirements, configuring and supporting Base24 modules, and troubleshooting issues in production and test systems.

The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, infrastructure, and development to ensure stable, secure transaction processing and timely issue resolution. The role also involves carrying out system enhancements, supporting upgrades, participating in code reviews, and creating technical and functional documentation. The Base24 Consultant is expected to follow established quality standards, contribute to process improvement, and provide knowledge sharing and guidance to teammates.

Qualifications





- Solid hands-on experience with Base24 (Classic or EPS), including configuration, customization, and support in card or payment processing environments.
- Strong knowledge of transaction processing systems, POS/ATM switching, card authorization flows, and related banking or financial services domain concepts.
- Proficiency in relevant programming and scripting languages commonly used with Base24 (such as COBOL, TAL, TACL, or similar), as well as familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
- Experience working on production support, incident management, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for high-availability systems.
- Ability to interpret business requirements, create technical specifications, and prepare explicit documentation for configurations, interfaces, and changes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with stakeholders, share status updates, and participate in reviews and discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in payments or Base24 technologies are an advantage.
- Experience in on-site client engagement, adherence to security and compliance practices, and willingness to work flexible hours when required for critical support.
