About The Role:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Backend Node.js Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, REST APIs, database management, and cloud deployment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Build robust and secure RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Develop reusable, efficient, and clean server-side code.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams.
- Write technical documentation and maintain coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms when required.

Required Skills:





- 5+ years of professional experience in Backend Development with Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Robust understanding of REST API design and development.
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Knowledge of authentication methods such as JWT, OAuth, and session management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Understanding of Docker and containerization is a plus.
- Experience with Redis, message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka), or microservices architecture is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of backend security best practices and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
