About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in TypeScript, Python, or C# to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about designing and building high-performance, scalable backend systems capable of supporting millions of users globally. As a key member of our engineering community, you will be responsible for owning the entire lifecycle of backend services, from development to deployment, ensuring robust architecture and adherence to best practices.

You will work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-crafted software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and users.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in software engineering, with hands-on expertise in TypeScript, Python,



or C#. You should possess a solid understanding of designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs, along with experience working within modern git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructures such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure. A strong foundation in system design is essential, including data modeling, component architecture, and event-driven thinking.

Proficiency with relational databases and SQL is required, and familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to writing clean, testable, and robust code, backed by sound testing and observability practices. Excellent problem-solving, debugging skills, and effective communication in English are also necessary.

The ability to work independently in a rapid-paced, remote environment is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and deploy production backend services end-to-end using TypeScript, Python, or C#, taking ownership of your work throughout the entire process.
- Design, build, and maintain REST or GraphQL APIs that serve as the interface between frontend and backend systems, ensuring they are scalable and reliable.
- Make architectural decisions related to data modeling,



service boundaries, and component design, applying event-driven architecture principles where appropriate.
- Model and query data efficiently across relational and NoSQL databases, selecting the appropriate data storage solutions for different use cases.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, establishing observability mechanisms to monitor system health and facilitate debugging.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold engineering standards.
