Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai for Automobile Service Advisors at Gurudev Motors (Škoda dealers). The role involves greeting customers, understanding their service needs, and creating accurate job cards and service estimates.

Service

Advisors will coordinate with the workshop team, monitor service progress, and ensure timely completion and delivery of vehicles. They will communicate repair recommendations clearly, obtain customer approvals, and explain invoices and work performed in a transparent manner.



Daily responsibilities also include managing appointments, handling aftersales follow-ups, addressing customer queries or concerns, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality in line with dealership and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

- Solid customer-focused service skills, with a commitment to Customer Satisfaction and professional Customer Service.
- Excellent Communication abilities, including listening, explaining technical issues in simple terms, and maintaining clear documentation.
- Experience in Aftersales operations, such as service coordination, follow-ups, and basic understanding of automotive service processes.
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive service, preferably with passenger cars or dealership environments.
- Basic technical knowledge of automobiles and willingness to learn manufacturer-specific service procedures.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced workshop environment, manage multiple customer requests, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with service management software, MS Office, and standard digital tools used in dealership operations.
- Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant vocational training or certifications are an advantage.
